As he commends King Charles for putting the US President “in his place,” Sir Rod Stewart refers to Trump as a “little ratbag”

In his second line-up of the evening, the King encountered a difficult situation when Sir Rod Stewart brought up his recent visit to the United States and told President Trump’s monarch, “You put that little ratbag in his place.”

“Hello, Sir,” the singer said. Well done in the Americas, if I may say so. You were excellent. Excellent. You placed him in his proper place, tiny ratbag.

As Stewart responded, “It went right over his head,” the King’s response was vague, with the exception of a later reference to “yes exactly.” There was conjecture that this might allude to the King’s popular speech in Congress.

Royal insiders emphasised that His Majesty shouldn’t be perceived as endorsing the star because his words could not be heard.

Actor Lucian Laviscount, singers Rita Ora, Anne-Marie, and Craig David, as well as presenters Fleur East, Sam Thompson, and Tyler West, all gave the King a “fist bump” and joked, “Every single time!”

There was a wonderful moment at the end of the performance when the King and Queen were surprisingly brought on stage as “the nation’s favourite couple” rather than Ant and Dec. They had sneaked out of the Royal Box without the public realising.

Excellent. You placed the little jerk in his proper place.

The television hosts, who had just as stealthily sneaked into their seats in the Royal Box, were later captured on camera.

As the camera swung to them, Ant could be heard saying, “Sorry, sorry.” It appears that a catastrophic mix-up occurred.

“Oh, I don’t know,” Dec chuckled. This is something I could get used to. They will be able to identify each other, at least for the first time on stage.

“There is that,” Ant said in response to the laughter. Hold on, does that imply that we are in charge of the nation if you are down there and we are up here?

“Dec remarked, “That would be a terrible mistake.” Ant remarked, “I don’t know, you know, I’ve always fancied my head on a stamp.” Dec quipped, “That would have to be a big stamp.”

The King said, “I’ve always wondered if someone would put Ant and Dec back in their box,” and called it a “jolly good joke” in an impromptu speech.

The King added, “All I can say is that it wasn’t easy in those days.” He claimed it was “hard to believe 50 years had gone by since we managed to start this trust.” It was seen negatively by many. In any case, we succeeded.

Above all, I wanted to invest in the potential abilities of many young people who struggled to know what to do due to a lack of confidence and self-worth.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to all of the “wonderful” mentors, employees, sponsors, funders, and ambassadors who “make the whole thing work.”He grinned, “I can throw my arms around and hope for the best, but they deliver on the ground.”

He went on to say that he was “hugely proud” of each of them and the youth they have assisted.

The King received numerous hearty rounds of gratitude and applause.
