As France’s president, Macron incites residents’ anxieties by disregarding anti-draconian protests.
EMMANUEL MACRON has been chastised for neglecting citizens’ rising dissatisfaction with Covid limits.
On GB News, commentator Carol McGiffin discussed how French citizens feel about French President Emmanuel Macron and the Covid restrictions. She claimed that President Macron was ignoring protesters opposing the covid passport when speaking with broadcaster Dan Wootton. She also expressed concern about the future of France and the government’s response to the pandemic.
“It’s a tremendous irony with you, isn’t it?” Mr Wootton replied.
“You were so desperate to get out of these harsh limitations.
“So you return to France, only for Macron to raise the stakes even higher.”
“It’s just so terrible, life is getting extremely difficult here,” Ms McGiffin added.
“I never expected that to happen.
“I was fleeing the limitations when I left the UK to return to France in January, and they were lifted earlier here in France.
“Then, in June, I returned to London, where things had calmed down a bit.
“However, they’d been here for a long period and there were few limitations; a few people were still wearing masks on the street.
“I am quite concerned about France’s future.
“It is clear that Emmanuel Macron is unconcerned about the big protests.”
Ms McGiffin also expressed her dissatisfaction with President Macron’s apparent shift in approach to the pandemic.
“I honestly felt ill listening to what Macron was saying,” she remarked.
“I couldn’t believe how quickly he was bringing in covid passports.
“I recall him saying on TV last year that we need to return to our culture, our freedom, our lifestyles, and being French.
“After he stated all of that, he said you can’t leave the house without this covid pass.”
