After the Euro 2020 loss, a horror brawl in an Ibiza bar sees a Scottish father ‘slashed’ in the face.

After the Euro 2020 final, a Scottish father was allegedly beaten up and cut in front of his children by an England fan.

Following the conclusion of Sunday night’s game, the claimed incident quickly escalated, leaving the father “soaked in blood.” The England fan appeared enraged when Bukayo Saka missed the game-winning penalty kick, culminating in England’s loss to Italy.

Before the brawl, both men were watching England’s Euro defeat in a four-star family hotel bar in Ibiza.

Witnesses claimed the Englishman reacted violently when his team lost the game, causing the Scottish father to be “slashed” across the forehead.

Another visitor and witness to the incident told the Daily Record that the incident left youngsters “screaming.”

“The English guy rose up, walked over to the victim, and sliced him across the forehead,” they said. The blood was all over the place in an instant. All of the kids, including my own, were screaming.

“I was around 20 meters away from where the victim was sitting, and I could see that there was some friendly banter going on during the game.

“Something looked to have been said between the two right after the game, although they were still sitting with their respective families.”

Following the alleged assault, the attacker is said to have dashed through the hotel as the victim was being transported to the hospital.

The incident apparently occurred in a throng of up to 300 individuals who had gathered in the outside bar area to watch the game.

“He sliced him across the forehead while the victim sat with his wife and children,” the witness continued.

“In the midst of the turmoil, the suspect and his family vanished into the hotel. The victim’s wife was in tears when she arrived at reception following the incident.

“The suspect was also with his family, who were all staying at the hotel. Other visitors aided in his recognition by the victim’s wife.

“It was witnessed by my five-year-old and my eleven-year-old, both of whom were unable to sleep. As I lay in bed, my five-year-old was still crying.”

According to the Daily Record, the suspect has been apprehended and is scheduled to appear in a Spanish court.
