After installing CCTV, a terrified lady unintentionally captures her own murder on tape.
A WOMAN’S MURDER was caught on camera after she put surveillance cameras in her house.
Marylou Sarkissian, 50, lived in Huntington Beach, California, and had been dating Jason Becher, 46, on and off for the past five years. In August 2016, after Becher became violent toward Ms Sarkissian, the mother of three obtained a restraining order against her spouse. Becher was found guilty in June after a trial that began in May of this year.
Ms Sarkissian contacted 911 on August 28, 2016, after she claimed Becher forced and shoved her into the bathroom, where he suffocated her with a towel.
After they argued about Ms Sarkissian having money that belonged to him, Becher said the argument escalated.
Ms Sarkissian told police officers that Becher assaulted her again after they met in a hotel in November.
“Why can’t you control your violence?” she asked Becher after he texted pleading for forgiveness. My cheek is swelled, and there are bruises all over my body.
“You can’t terrorize me, choke me, and suffocate me with a pillow and believe it’ll be fine.”
After blocking him, the mother of three had a technician install a security system with motion-activated cameras in her home on December 1.
Officers arrived at Ms Sarkissian’s home on December 13, 2016, and discovered her dead in a pool of blood after Becher surrendered.
Becher is said to have admitted to a relative that he assaulted Ms Sarkissian on December 12th.
Officers examined footage from the 50-year-freshly old’s installed cameras and discovered that Becher attempted and failed to break into her home with a crowbar before waiting for her to unlock her doors.
She let her dog out of the sliding door to her bedroom at 12:15 a.m., and Becher took advantage of the opportunity to enter her home.
Ms Sarkissian was seen being attacked by Becher, who left her with multiple rib fractures and a broken nose.
Officers witnessed Becher seeing the security system boxes in the kitchen after the killing on video.
“New home security system?” Becher could be heard saying. “How did it f****** work out for you?” says the narrator.
Becher was seen leaving with a trash bag about 30 minutes later, and he appeared to have changed.
Police discovered a bundle of bloodied garments in his residence.
Becher was convicted guilty of first-degree murder in May 2021. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
