Tiger Woods, who is thought to have returned to rehab in Switzerland, shared an emotional Memorial Day greeting on Monday.

The 50-year-old’s Gulfstream V aircraft took off on Saturday night from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, and landed at Zurich airport, according to a Celebplanes.com story quoted by Golfweek on Sunday.

After being arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in March, the golf legend was in rehab in the European nation. On May 13, he was seen making his way back to Florida.

On Monday morning, however, Woods made an appearance on social media to express gratitude to military people on Memorial Day.

“My father was a Special Forces operator with two tours in Vietnam and twenty years of service,” he added. We are all grateful for the sacrifices made by people like my father. We wouldn’t have the best nation in the world without them.

It was Woods’ first post on X since he issued a statement on March 31 on his arrest for DUI.

After his rumored return to Switzerland, Tiger Woods posted a message on Memorial Day (seen earlier this month).

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Woods was still in Switzerland when Vanessa Trump, his girlfriend, received a breast cancer diagnosis earlier this month.

The 48-year-old, who is the ex-wife of Don Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, announced on Wednesday night that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is “working closely” with medical professionals to develop a treatment plan.

The mother of five revealed the heartbreaking news on Instagram, adding that she had had a “procedure” earlier in the week.

Woods was one of the famous guests at a special event held last week to commemorate Kai Trump’s high school graduation.

However, a source told the Daily Mail earlier this week that Vanessa will have significant resentment toward Woods for being in treatment at the time of her diagnosis.

According to a source, Vanessa will be unhappy that the golf icon wasn’t there for her when she was diagnosed with cancer, even though he gave him a “ultimatum” to get expert care.

Vanessa expressed her gratitude to her doctors for carrying out the treatment in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” the model continued.

Vanessa Trump was diagnosed with breast cancer when Woods was in rehab in Switzerland.

Woods was accused of causing property damage, driving while intoxicated, and refusing to take a valid test.

She has also made it apparent to those close to her that she will do everything in her power to combat the illness.

“She’s going to fight like hell because she has too much to live for,” the insider stated. Everyone has been informed of that by her. Don’t feel sorry for her. Don’t act as though she’s about to shatter. She will fight, and she will prevail.

In the millionaire community of Jupiter Island, Woods was arrested on March 27 after flipping his SUV while attempting to pass a truck and trailer at a fast speed.

According to a sheriff’s office report, he displayed signs of impairment after his SUV impacted the trailer of a truck and rolled onto its side, and deputies discovered two painkillers in his pocket.

Authorities added that Woods declined a urine test but consented to a breathalyzer test that revealed no evidence of drinking.

The golf icon has since been accused of DUI, causing property damage, and refusing to take a legal test.Woods entered a not guilty plea.

The 15-time major champion has been receiving “intense treatment” at a Zurich facility following the concerning crash. “He has a pain management doctor who is helping him deal with his body pain without addictive opioids,” a source told the Daily Mail last month. “He calls or Zooms a small number of people: Vanessa, his kids, [agent] Mark Steinberg.”

In March, Woods had his fourth car-related incident when he rolled his vehicle close to his Jupiter Island residence.

Woods declined a urine test but consented to a breathalyzer test that revealed no alcohol.

“It’s a 90-day program, but he can leave whenever he wants. He’s responding well to treatment, and Vanessa is very happy with what she’s hearing.”

After his imprisonment, Vanessa swiftly dispelled rumors that their relationship was in jeopardy by endorsing him on Instagram.

She posted a romantic picture of them together on Instagram with the caption, “Love you,” a week after the incident.

However, the Daily Mail subsequently verified Vanessa’s insistence that Woods need comprehensive expert assistance and would not tolerate history repeating itself.

The most recent incident is the fourth time he has been into problems while operating a vehicle.

In 2017, police discovered him slumped in his car in Florida with five substances in his system, including two opioids, leading to his arrest for another DUI.

Later, in 2021, Woods was buried beneath the car in a similar collision in California, shattering his right leg. To heal from his wounds, he required several surgeries.

In November 2009, after wife Elin Nordegren found out he had been having an affair, he attempted to leave his Florida house but smashed into a fire hydrant. It caused his reputation to fall apart, from which he has never fully recovered.
