After a stabbing in Brixton Hill, police arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
On July 14, police detained a 48-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
The man was arrested on Monday in connection with the death of a 44-year-old man and is still being held. In the early hours of July 12, the deceased was discovered dead on New Park Road in London. The London Ambulance Service dispatched officers to the area at around 6.55 a.m.
Multiple injuries were suggested as the provisional cause of death during a post-mortem at Greenwich Mortuary.
The police have notified the next of kin, but they are awaiting formal identification.
The investigation is being led by detectives from the Specialist Crime Command.
