After a 5ft python emerges to ‘pinch’ his genitals, a 65-year-old man has a terrifying toilet trip.
While on the toilet, a man was bitten by a snake, which then latched onto his genitals.
After experiencing a “pinch,” the 65-year-old Austrian bolted from his seat. He turned around to find a 5-foot albino python in his toilet bowl.
He was rushed to the hospital with “minimal injuries,” and doctors looked for an infection.
The Graz man was bitten below the belt about 6 a.m. local time on Monday.
A local reptile expert arrived at his flat after he called for help and removed the snake.
The python had escaped from a neighbor’s home, according to Werner Stangl, who told local newspapers about it.
Mr Stangl said he cleaned the undamaged python and returned it to its 24-year-old owner next door, according to the local newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten.
The escapee is one of 11 non-venomous snakes kept by a neighbor who also owns a gecko in specially-designed cages and drawers, according to police.
The snake owner had been referred to prosecutors for negligent bodily harm, according to officers. It’s unclear whether he’ll face charges.
Mr. Stangl remarked that in his 40 years of working with reptiles, he had never been summoned to anything like this.
Albino reticulated pythons are the world’s largest snakes, yet they aren’t known for attacking humans.
If they feel threatened or if they mistake something for food, they will constrict or bite.
