According to a royal author, Kate Middleton’s look and behavior at Prince Philip’s burial solidified her position as one of the Royal Family’s most senior members.
According to a royal book, the now-iconic image of Kate Middleton at Prince Phillip’s funeral is considered to be the moment the Duchess of Cambridge proved she is fit to be the future queen.
Kate’s appearance and demeanor stood out throughout the ceremony, which brought the Royal Family and the nation together to bid farewell to the Duke of Edinburgh.
The image of her sitting in a car with a black mask and veil covering her eyes has become legendary, with suggestions that the image, as well as her actions during the burial and afterward, demonstrate her ability to become queen.
During Channel 5’s program, ‘Kate: Our Queen in Waiting,’ royal author Emily Andrews discussed how Kate is now recognized as a senior role in the Royal Family.
She stated, ” “This was a woman at the top of her game, dressed to the nines.
“But she is also, quite appropriately, asserting herself as one of the Royal Family’s most senior members.
“To be honest, I believe it was one of those images where you could actually see Queen Catherine waiting.”
Kate was also commended for her presence following the funeral, as she was spotted supporting a number of other royals.
She was also seen leaving the church with Prince Harry, which comes after tensions between the Duke of Sussex and the rest of the Royal Family following his departure from working royal life and revelations made in the bombshell Oprah Winfrey Interview.
