According to a UFO investigator, the Pentagon’s UFO study reveals a schism within the US Department of Defense.

According to a leading UFO investigator, the Pentagon’s looming study on UFO sightings has highlighted a schism between the military and the country’s intelligence communities.

The Pentagon is poised to reveal what the US Department of Defense (DoD) knows about UFOs – or unidentified aerial phenomena in military lingo – any day now (UAPs). The study, compiled by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, will include unclassified information about a slew of recent high-profile UFO videos that have been released to the internet. Despite the fact that some experts expect the study to gloss over the most juicy details for national security concerns, many others are hopeful it will validate more than 50 years of UFO research.

The United States’ interest in UFOs is at an all-time high, but it remains to be seen whether the Pentagon study lives up to some of the most irrational expectations.

While claims of little green men and mystery craft swarming US Navy ships have dominated the news, a former British Ministry of Defence (MoD) investigator has told This website that there is another side to the story.

Nick Pope, who worked for the British government investigating UFO occurrences in the 1990s, says the Pentagon report has revealed a rift in the US military and intelligence organizations’ upper ranks.

The split could be due to the way the story is being spun: are we being visited by extraterrestrial aliens or are foreign intelligence services spying on the United States?

“My best guess is that the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) will take a similar approach to the Department of Defense’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and will try to spin this as being about next-generation aerospace and weapon threats, primarily from aircraft, missiles, and drones,” Mr Pope said.

“I expect a lot more attention to be paid to the threats posed by drones, drone swarms, and AI-controlled drone swarms in particular.

“That said, my understanding is that there are differing perspectives on the true nature of the phenomenon in the US military and intelligence establishment, as well as groups fighting for control of the narrative.”

Mr. Pope, dubbed the “British Fox Mulder,” has been watching the situation intently for months.
