‘Absolutely revolting’ During the UK heatwave, litter scavengers wreaked havoc on popular tourist destinations.
PHOTOS have been released of heaps of trash placed in beauty sites and beaches by irresponsible litter squatters during the recent heat wave.
Daytrippers and holidaymakers rushed to beaches, parks, and other beauty places as temperatures soared to 30°C across the UK this week. However, other people have dumped trash on the ground, including used barbeques, bottles and cans, and soiled nappies.
A dog walker in Leicester was upset to see trash abandoned by a riverside at a park.
“I felt shocked and disgusted,” she told Leicestershire Live.
“I went on my normal dog walk through the lovely fields and down the pebble beach at Aylestone Meadows when I was confronted with masses of trash and waste strewn about.
“There were used barbecues and even a soiled nappy,” says the narrator.
“Understandably, we’ve all been enjoying the great weather, and this particular place has been packed with people enjoying the sea.
“But why didn’t they take their litter with them if they wanted to eat and drink?
“Did they have the arms to carry it there?”
Why didn’t they bring their litter with them if they wanted to eat and drink? Did they have the means to transport it?

The discarded pizza boxes, beer bottles, cans, and plastic bags had to be cleared by council employees.
“The sheer ignorance and lack of respect of some people has spoiled the place for everyone else,” the dog walker continued.
“The city even provides a number of black rubbish bags that are connected to a neighboring fence.
“I’m disgusted and upset, and I believe I speak for many others who would otherwise appreciate the region.
“It’s such a disgrace.”
Empty bottles, discarded containers, and plastic bags were photographed on a beach in Merseyside.
Similar spectacles were seen in Newcastle, Cornwall, and Devon, among other places, yesterday.
Beaches in Lancashire were also littered with “disgusting” garbage.
“What people leave on the beach is disgusting,” said Toto Jackson, who volunteered to clean one of the beaches.
“There are nappies, wipes, human and dog feces, cans, glass, and plastic,” says the narrator.
One woman described the litterbugs as “very horrible” in an online post.
“They’re utterly disgusting,” the Facebook user continued.
These guys tarnish everyone’s reputation. There’s no excuse for this; bring a bag with you and dispose of your trash at home.”
