‘A sailor family!’ Kate Middleton enjoys sailing with her three children, George, Charlotte, and William.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spent the summer teaching their three children to sail.
The royal couple are both accomplished sailors who have raced against one another in countless races. They skippered their own teams at the King’s Cup Regatta at Cowes, Isle of Wight, in 2019. Kate and William have decided to pass on their love of the game to their children.
In early August, George, 8, Charlotte, 6, and Louis, 3, were all observed sailing with their parents on a small boat off the coast of North Norfolk.
“They are very much a family of sailors now,” an insider told Vanity Fair.
“Kate has always been a capable sailor, and William isn’t bad either.
“They had a great time sailing and teaching the kids how to maneuver and sail a boat this summer on the coast.”
They went on to say that the three kids had a great time swimming in the sea and were unafraid of the “fresh” waters.
“The youngsters spent hours playing on the sand and running in and out of the ocean with their dog,” the insider stated.
“They appear to be a family who enjoys being outside and in nature.”
Due of the Covid epidemic, the Cambridge family spent their summer vacation in the United Kingdom this year.
They went to the Scilly Isles off the coast of Cornwall and stayed with the Queen at Balmoral in Scotland for a few days.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are prepared to return to school as the summer draws to a close.
George will begin Year 4 at Thomas’ School in Battersea, while Charlotte will begin Year 2.
Willcocks Nursery School is where Prince Louis will continue to go.
