A 17-year-old girl is brought to the hospital after being stabbed at a McDonald’s.
A TEENAGE girl was stabbed in a McDonald’s in a town center and was brought to the hospital.
At around 8 p.m. on Sunday, emergency services rushed to the fast food restaurant in Croydon, south London. A helicopter was dispatched and landed on the roof of a local shopping center parking garage.
The teenager was treated by specialist paramedics before being rushed to A&E, according to My London.
Three people have been detained in connection with the stabbing, which is the latest in a series of horrifying carnage in the city in recent months.
The injuries sustained by the most recent victim are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Police were alerted at about 7.47pm on Sunday, July 18 to complaints of a stabbing at a commercial premises in North End, Croydon,” a Met Police spokesperson said.
“Officers were present, as were London Ambulance Service personnel.
“A knife wound to the arm was discovered on a 17-year-old female. She was transferred to a hospital in South London, where her condition was determined to be non-life threatening.
“An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing. Detectives have retrieved surveillance footage and gathered testimonies from a number of witnesses.”
