A 15-year-old who was fatally stabbed during chaos at a house party in Hackney has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy.
The adolescent was charged with Brayan David Saldarriaga’s murder on Friday; due to his age, he cannot be recognized for legal reasons.
He is scheduled to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today and has also been charged with possessing a bladed article.
On Monday, May 25, at 7:17 p.m., police were called in response to complaints of a sizable gathering, disturbances, and sightings of people brandishing machetes in Towpath Walk, E9.
Alongside the London Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service, officers were present. Brayan, a resident of Haringey, was discovered by emergency personnel in nearby Poplar Close with stab wounds.
A argument broke out at a home party in northeast London, leading to the stabbing.
Panicked partygoers, including teenagers, were spotted shouting and leaving the scene, with some even making their way to Hackney Marshes.
As people fled, witnesses claimed to have seen a black-clad individual sprinting toward the gathering while brandishing what appeared to be a huge machete.

Officers with specialized training continue to assist his family.
