High cholesterol is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular disease, which claims the lives of hundreds of thousands of people each year.

Fortunately, a healthy diet and regular exercise can help to improve the situation.

High cholesterol has long been linked to saturated fat, but this does not mean that all fats should be avoided.

Certain vegetable-based oils, in fact, are praised for their cholesterol-lowering properties.

Combining rice bran and sesame oil lowers bad cholesterol while increasing good cholesterol, according to one study.

According to Science Daily, one study found “a significant drop in blood pressure and improved cholesterol levels in people who cooked with a blend of sesame and rice bran oils.”

The findings of the study, which were presented at the American Heart Association’s High Blood Pressure Research 2012 Scientific Sessions, found that combining these oils worked nearly as well as a commonly prescribed high blood pressure medication, and that using the oil blend in conjunction with medication produced even better results.

The researchers wrote that “rice bran oil, like sesame oil, is low in saturated fat and appears to improve a patient’s cholesterol profile.”

“It may also reduce the risk of heart disease in other ways, such as as a diet replacement for less healthy oils and fats.”

High cholesterol: According to a new study, an anti-inflammatory food can reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol levels in weeks.

The study looked at 300 people in India who had mild to moderately high blood pressure.

The cohort was divided into three groups.

To help with blood pressure, the first sample was given a calcium-channel blocker (nifedipine).

A second group was given a mixture of rice bran and sesame seed oil, which they ate an ounce of with their meals every day.

The calcium-channel blocker and the oil blend were given to the third group, as well as a combination of the two.

When the researchers measured cholesterol levels, they found that those who consumed the oils had a %2026%%20decrease%20in%20LDL%20cholesterol%20and%20a%209.5%20increase%20in%20good%20cholesterol%20.

The calcium-channel blocker had no effect on cholesterol levels on its own, but when combined with oils, LDL cholesterol was reduced by 27% and HDL cholesterol increased by 10.9 percent.

That is the case.
