LOCKDOWN has resulted in individuals spending more time indoors than ever before, reducing how much exercise they can get in a day and resulting to unhealthy habits and even weight gain. However, losing extra weight can be just as easy as gaining it, especially if you engage in fun activities that get you moving but don’t feel like workouts.

One of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce weight is to get your body moving. However, exercising, participating in sports, getting a personal trainer, or going to the gym when it reopens are not required.

The simplest approach to lose weight is to do it without recognizing it, as it relieves stress and allows you to enjoy yourself.

Claire Spurway, a British athlete, suggested doing fun activities with your children and younger family members to achieve this.

With the Easter holidays approaching, the athlete has teamed up with Feel Good Contacts to assist parents enjoy a stress-free and active couple of weeks with their kids while also losing some weight.

Claire suggested dancing as one of the activities.

Claire stated that “you don’t have to be a good dancer” no matter what type of dancing you do.

“The only thing that matters is that you’re moving,” she continued.

Starting with a five-minute dance session, the athlete suggested gradually increasing it by five minutes every few days.

Just 20 minutes of dancing each day will raise your heart rate and, as a result, help you lose weight.

Washing your automobile is another activity that you may perform with your children or alone.

“Having a sponge battle and washing the car at the same time is a terrific way to make the most of the spring sunshine,” Claire added. Water bombs and water pistols can be used to provide some excitement.

“When you all work your arms for the wash and polish, you’ll get a job done while having fun with the kids and burning calories.”

You can also “do squats to clean the bottom of the car and stretch to wash the roof,” according to the athlete.

Another simple strategy to lose weight is to play games with your children. Games are a great way to include exercise into your daily routine.
