The DIFFERENT signs to look out for if you have a Delta variation

THE DELTA variety, which was first discovered in India, is sweeping the United Kingdom, proving significantly more contagious than prior Covid strains. And now it appears that the symptoms are also different.

According to a Public Health England research, the Delta variant is currently found in nine out of ten new coronavirus cases. As the UK now faces battling another strain of the virus, the race to get second vaccine doses administered ramps up as lockdown is set to end in just one week, PHE data also revealed that Delta, first identified in India, is 64 percent more transmissible than the previously dominant Alpha variant that originated in Kent.

While the conventional symptoms of Covid have become well-known – cough, fever, loss of smell or taste – the Delta form, according to experts, presents a unique set of symptoms.

The following are the three main symptoms right now:

Professor Tim Spector, who oversees the Zoe Covid Symptom study and app, said that while fever is still common, a loss of smell is no longer among the top ten symptoms.

“We’ve been looking at the top symptoms in app users since the beginning of May, and they’re not the same as they were,” he said.

“This variation appears to be working slightly differently,” he continued.

“People may believe they are suffering from a seasonal cold and continue to attend parties, where they may infect six other people.

“We believe this is contributing to a significant portion of the problem.

“The takeaway here is that if you’re young, you’re more likely to experience lesser symptoms.

“It could just be a nasty cold or a strange ‘off’ feeling, but stay at home and be tested.”

Despite the fact that the government continues to recommend that the most essential symptoms to look for with Covid are a new persistent cough, a high temperature, and a loss of or change in smell or taste, research has long revealed a variety of other symptoms.

The Imperial College London React research of more than a million patients in England showed a wide range of new symptoms connected to Covid when the Alpha or UK form was prominent.

Along with conventional symptoms, chills, loss of appetite, headache, and muscle aches were all significantly connected to being infected.

“There are various other symptoms linked,” according to the study.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
