Donald Trump has been warned by NICOLA Sturgeon that the ban on him from entering Scotland extends to him as well as anybody else.

The First Minister made the comments in the midst of rumors that the U.S. president may be trying to snub Joe Biden’s inauguration by traveling to Scotland.

Ms. Sturgeon said she hoped and anticipated that Mr. Trump’s immediate travel schedule was to “leave the White House” after the Scottish government’s coronavirus update.

“She added: “At the moment, we are not letting people into Scotland who do not have a significant excuse.

And that applies as much to him as anyone else does.

“Coming to play golf is not what I would consider an essential purpose.”

“She said she had “no idea” what the travel arrangements for Mr. Trump were.

It comes after news that Prestwick Airport was told to expect the arrival on Jan. 19 of a U.S. military Boeing 757, which Trump has sometimes used.

A source at the airport told the Sunday Post newspaper, “On Jan. 19, the day before the inauguration, there is a reservation for the American military version of the Boeing 757.”

Sturgeon urged that freedom efforts be halted as the lockout starts again.

“It’s one that the vice president normally uses, but the first lady also uses it.

“Presidential flights are usually booked well in advance because of the work that has to be done around it.”

Close by is the Trump Turnberry Golf Club.
