McDonald’s customers complain about “expired” Monopoly stickers – here’s how it works.

Customers at MCDONALD’S have been left “perplexed” after discovering that their Monopoly stickers have run out. Despite this, the fast food behemoth claims that the tickets are still valid.

McDonald’s recently reintroduced its popular Monopoly game, in which customers may win free food and prizes. Some consumers have complained that their stickers had expired after being postponed owing to the epidemic last year.

Due to the epidemic, McDonald’s monopoly could not continue because its stores were closed for several months.

The fast food business, on the other hand, has already begun packaging production, with over 200 million Monopoly game pieces already printed.

Despite the fact that the new packaging’s expiration dates have passed, McDonald’s has recycled it to save waste.

Customers took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction, claiming that they have been “kept in the dark” about what is going on.

“Why is it that a sticker I just acquired yesterday expired back in May?” one individual wondered.

“I’m very baffled about why my sticker expired at the start of the year, what’s going on?” said another.

A third tweeted, “Customers have been left in the dark; more people need to be talking about this.”

“Packaging and Game Pieces printed prior to rescheduling could not be securely reprinted in time, thus new dates apply,” a McDonald’s representative stated.

“To learn specifics of all rescheduling enter-form/until dates and claim or redeem prizes-by dates, consumers should go to the website or ask in restaurants.”

Customers should disregard any dates on the stickers because they are still valid.

Expiration dates have been changed:

Collect for a chance to win non-food prizes: the old date was June 4, 2021, and the new date is November 11, 2021.

Old date June 4, 2021, new date November 5, 2021: Instant win non-food prize or discount

Food or Just Eat vouchers can be won instantly; the old date was May 18, 2021; the new date is October 19, 2021.

Instant win discount voucher (except for Just Eat) with an expiration date of August 31, 2021 or earlier, and a new expiration date of January 31, 2022.

Dates for the online game have been changed from May 5, 2021 to October 15, 2021.

McDonald’s advises customers to double-check the new expiration date on their Monopoly stickers to avoid missing out.

Lucky participants might win free McDonald’s food, as well as up to £100,000 in cash, a vacation, or other prizes. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
