Mark Labbett of The Chase stuns viewers with a ten-stone weight drop – how did he do it?

MARK LABBETT, who plays ‘The Beast’ on ITV’s The Chase, has recently astonished fans with his dramatic weight loss of ten stone. Over the years, the British quizzer has been extremely open about his journey.

Mark Labbett has kept his fans updated on his weight loss quest via social media, where he will upload progress images on a regular basis. The Chaser previously stated that he weighed 29 stone at his heaviest, but that he has lost five clothing sizes since starting his journey.

“Very proud of my improvement since following my @mfgoalgettersuk plan,” Mark remarked on social media a few months ago, sharing before and after photographs.

“Food delivered to my door every week, it couldn’t be easier!”

Slimmers can get custom-made, high-protein meals delivered to their homes as part of the program.

“Whether you’re searching for a seven-day meal plan tailored to your goal or some healthy essentials, this plan contains over 100 meal alternatives and is created around you – regardless of your activity level,” according to the website.

“Leaner, meaner lockdown with excellent folks of Muscle Foods,” he said on Instagram in January. I’ll be the skinniest Chaser in no time.”

When trying to lose weight, it’s critical to consume protein-rich foods.

Protein suppresses the appetite hormone while increasing multiple satiety hormones.

This can help slimmers eat fewer calories naturally, reducing the desire to eat more throughout the day.

Mark’s progress astounded fans, with one saying, “Omg, you look wonderful, so much healthier.”

“Wow, you’re very inspirational,” one person said.

In an interview with ITV’s Loose Women, ‘The Beast’ also said that he has eliminated the majority of sugar from his diet.

“I steadily reduced X’s off my size, from 5XL to 4XL, and it seems like I’ll be able to squeeze into XL jeans the next time I go shopping,” he added.

“It’s the little things that matter.

“I was 29 stone in my last year as a full-time teacher in 2003, and I was on the point of needing high blood pressure pills; I’d been mainly around 25 or 26 up until maybe just before the shutdown, and then a few things happened pretty well and came together, and the weight just fell off.”

The Chaser also said that he was consuming a lot of lean meat. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
