How to live longer: Drinking a glass of “pure fruit juice” every day can help lower blood pressure.

NEW RESEARCH HAS FOUND A DRINK THAT CAN HELP US FIGHT INflammation while also boosting our immune system. Not only that, but the drink has chemicals that “may help with blood pressure reduction.”

According to Dr. Carrie Ruxton, a glass of pure fruit juice contains vitamin C, folate, and potassium, which can “lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke.” So, what is the healthiest beverage for you? “Human trials show that drinking orange juice reduces inflammation,” says Professor Philip Calder. The co-author of the new study, a Southampton University professor of nutritional immunology, stressed the significance of the findings.

“Excessive or uncontrolled inflammation might cause irreversible damage to biological tissues,” he warned.

According to Harvard Medical School’s Dr. Howard Sesso, evidence suggests that “inflammation may be a crucial process through which hypertension develops.”

This link was uncovered after a thorough investigation.

Researchers examined data from 21,000 participants over an eight-year period and discovered that those with higher blood levels of C-reactive protein (an inflammation marker) were more likely to develop high blood pressure.

Professor Calder noted, referring to vitamin C and folate found in orange juice, that “these nutrients improve the function of several types of immune cells, including phagocytes, natural killer cells, T-cells, and B-cells.”

“Another area of investigation is bioactive polyphenols found in citrus fruit juices, such as hesperidin, narirutin, and naringin.

“They may have direct antiviral effects as well as anti-inflammatory advantages, according to recent evidence from modeling studies.”

The components of orange juice are supposed to help with “strengthening the gut and skin barriers,” which are the body’s first line of defense.

Dr. Ruxton noted, “The facts about the positive impact that fruit juices have on the diet continues to increase.”

“It is now clear that citrus juices can aid immune health, which is critical when we return to our regular lives.”

If you want to avoid high blood pressure or lower your reading, the NHS suggests eating a “balanced diet.”

This includes drinking orange juice and lowering the amount of salt in your food.

“Salt causes a rise in blood pressure. The National Health Service (NHS) has stated that the more salt you consume, the higher your blood pressure will be.

Avoiding salt in your cooking and reading the “Brinkwire Summary News” are two simple strategies.
