GINO D’ACAMPO has the ideal midweek dinner that is both fresh and flavorful, as well as quick to prepare.

Gordon, Gino, and Fred’s Road Trip, starring Gino D’Acampo, Gordon Ramsay, and Fred Serieix, premieres today on ITV. The Italian chef also appears on This Morning on a regular basis, where he prepares simple yet flavorful dishes. In a prior presentation, Gino demonstrated how to create a quick and easy spaghetti sauce that was regarded as “beautiful” with “amazing flavor combinations.”

Spaghetti aglio, olio, e peperoncino is a classic Neapolitan spaghetti dish.

There are only five ingredients in this dish, which takes 15 minutes to prepare.

“When you execute this dish, chefs will tell you to put the oil in a pan, put it on the stove, and when the oil is hot, add the ingredients,” Gino explained.

“We don’t do this when we make aglio, olio, e peperoncino since the garlic would otherwise burn.”

“We do it this way: we put cold oil in the pan – this is a good tip to remember: oil goes in cold.”

He stated, “Then we put the garlic in.”

“We don’t start heating the oil until we’ve put the garlic in it.”

“When garlic burns, it becomes quite bitter, and it burns quickly.”

“By having the oil cold, the job is done as soon as the garlic sizzles,” the chef explained.

He then went on to explain the differences between flat leaf and curly parsley.

“Curly parsley has a woody flavor, so it’s mainly used for decoration,” Gino explained. “Everyone should use flat if they want the best flavor.”

“In goes the chili, in goes the parsley… What’s going on here is that I turned up the heat on the oil, and now it’s starting to sizzle. At this point, you can only move it around.

“Now that I’ve taken it off the heat, the garlic and chilli will disseminate their flavors throughout the oil, making it spicy without being burnt or bitter.”

“This is when people say ‘I want to do something quick’ – 10, 15 minutes, by the time you cook the pasta, it’s eight to nine minutes, you put it with this and,” he said.
