When Covid-19 died in August of this year in Augusta, Georgia, Yolanda Coar was 40 years old.

According to an exclusive report by the Guardian and Kaiser Health News, she was also a nurse manager and one of nearly 3,000 health care staff who died battling the virus in the U.S.

In a yearlong project, The Guardian profiled hundreds of health care staff.
