Recent weekly coronavirus numbers have been released, showing covid-19 hotspots per 100,000 population and the risk in each region.
After Scotland reported the highest number of daily cases of coronavirus since the pandemic started, the figures were released.
There were 8,710 positive cases in Scotland between Dec. 22 and Dec. 28, representing 159.4 cases per 100,000 of the population and an 8.1 percent test positivity rate.

There were 54 coronavirus cases in Stranraer South in Dumfries and Galloway – almost 32 percent more than anywhere else in the world.
Glasgow City is the borough with the most 19 cases of Covid, with 1,281 positive cases, a rate of 202.3 per 100,000 people.
However, with 233.1, the place with the most cases of Covid per 100.00 population was Dundee District.
During those seven days, no place in Scotland had zero cases of covid-19.
