How to live longer: A cholesterol-lowering beverage that’significantly’ increases life expectancy.

THE ANTI-AGING PROPERTIES OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ARE WELL-KNOWN, with phytochemicals being blamed for the majority of them.

However, one fruit in particular has been shown to be particularly effective in lowering high cholesterol and lengthening life expectancy.

Flavonoid content, a powerful antioxidant that reduces inflammation and thus protects against disease, is largely responsible for plants’ qualities.

Some fruits are more effective than others when it comes to boosting immune defenses and thus promoting longevity.

Cranberry is a good example of a plant with strong pro-longevity effects due to its high concentration of polyphenols and flavonoids.

According to some studies, cranberries’ antioxidant properties increase the levels of gamma delta T cells, which play a role in immune response, as well as virus-fighting cytokines.

A’massive red flag’ in the legs is a sign of high cholesterol that can happen “at night.”

In a study published in the journal Experimental Gerontology, researchers found that cranberry supplementation “significantly” extended the lifespan of fruit flies.

For their experiment, the researchers fed cranberry extract to flies at three stages of their lives.

The researchers wrote, “In comparison to non-supplemented and life stage-matched controls, cranberry supplementation at any of these life stages increased remaining lifespan.”

“These findings suggest that cranberry supplementation at any age can help people live longer, most likely by reducing oxidative damage.”

Oxidative damage is one of the hallmarks of aging, contributing to the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the skin as well as body degeneration.

Most human studies have relied on observational methods, with most longevity research focusing on fruit flies or mice in the lab.

Many existing studies on fruit flies, on the other hand, have found promising evidence of juice’s longevity benefits.

In one laboratory experiment, cranberry was found to be especially potent when combined with oregano extract.

The researchers wrote, “The highest concentration tested, OC, an oregano and cranberry mixture, was found to extend the median life span of both males and females.”

“No significant extension was observed with the other supplements.”

In a separate study, researchers looked into the effects of cranberries on cholesterol.

According to a study published in Diabetic Medicine, cranberries can significantly lower LDL cholesterol.

The study’s goal was to see how cranberry consumption affected the participants’ lipid profiles.
