If you drink too much alcohol, HANGOVERS are unavoidable, but there are a few things you may do before night and in the morning to alleviate the symptoms.

Avoiding excessive drinking, drinking clear spirits, and staying hydrated are the best ways to avoid a hangover… But that’s hardly good advise when you’re sick the next day and lying in bed. According to TikToker and healthcare provider Octavian Mihai (@antiagingpa on TikTok), if you’re feeling a little worse for wear after going a little too heavy on the booze, there are several things you can do to feel better.

TikToker @antiagingPA has revealed how to avoid a hangover in four simple actions, all of which are easy to remember.

If you’re reading this after a night of heavy drinking and haven’t yet gone to bed, you’ll be much better off in the morning if you take the advise.

“Remember, the dose makes the poison!” the TikToker said. So the less you drink, the better the next day will be.”

Even if you’ve party hard the night before, these four techniques can help you feel better in the morning.

Because your body is dehydrated after drinking alcohol, it creates hormones that cause your kidneys to retain water.

This raises your blood pressure and might cause a headache, which is one of the worst hangover symptoms.

“Your liver is also actively working to break down the alcohol from last night, generating molecules called thromboxanes in the process,” the TikToker stated.

“Flu-like symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea are caused by an increase in thromboxanes.

“Drinking alcohol dehydrates you and causes you to lose electrolytes, which can cause a headache in the morning.”

To remedy this issue, Octavian suggests rehydrating with salt or electrolytes before, during, and after the party to avoid or halt a headache.

A good breakfast, especially one that includes eggs, will set you up for the day.

“Your liver burns through its choline and antioxidant resources to metabolize alcohol, boosting thromboxanes in the process,” Octavian explained.

“To replenish your choline storage, eat eggs.”

Eggs will do the trick whether they’re poached, fried, or scrambled.

To refill your antioxidant levels, take some vitamins before going to bed or first thing in the morning.
