Transitions from Allan Murray Architects to employee ownership

Involved in a variety of high-profile projects in Edinburgh, including the St. James Quarter, New Waverley, The Tun and the BioQuarter masterplan, the Scottish design firm has shifted into employee ownership.

Allan Murray Architects, which was founded in 1992, will continue to be managed by directors Conor Pittman and Kenny McNally, enabling Allan Murray to retire completely.

Mr. Pittman said, “For us, it’s about continuity and showing the market that although we’re evolving, we’re as well-positioned as ever to deliver the groundbreaking and pioneering projects we’re known for.”
