Students may be eligible for a £9,250 university fee waiver, as well as a £500 meal voucher.
Frankie & Benny’s, an Italian-American restaurant, has accepted entries for a competition in which students can win a year of free university tuition, food, and an apprenticeship qualification with The Restaurant Group.
England has the highest tuition prices in the industrialized world, with fees as high as £9,250 per year, but Frankie & Benny’s is willing to cover the costs for three lucky students. Any student in the UK might win this reward with a simple social media post; entries opened today, September 27, and will close on October 24.
The return of fees and costs is less welcome as students return to university, but the Italian-American restaurant is willing to pay the £9,250 in addition to a £500 gift card to Frankie & Benny’s.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this reward is that each winner will be guaranteed a job following graduation in the form of an apprenticeship with one of the UK’s largest hospitality firms.
To enter, students only need to post a photo of themselves eating at Frankie & Benny’s or ordering takeout.
To compete, students must post these photographs to Instagram with the hashtags @frankienbennys and #StudentsWinWithFrankies, and the post must stay on the entrant’s feed for the duration of the contest.
Students should also include their preferred university and stake their claim to the prize by stating why they should win, with at least one Coca-Cola product in the photograph.
The winner will also be contacted via Instagram, but if no answer is received within 14 calendar days, the reward will be awarded to a new winner.
Any student studying in England, Scotland, or Wales, from undergraduates to postgraduates, can enter with as many posts as they wish.
“We’re always wanting to support students, and now, more than ever, we’re looking to support students,” Jon Knight, MD of the leisure and concessions division, said.
“Students may get 20% off their food bill at any Frankie & Benny’s restaurant all year, and as part of this new competition, we hope to provide three students a once-in-a-lifetime chance.”
“After the last 18 months, we couldn’t think of anything more fulfilling than assisting a group of students in getting the best start in life.”
“Brinkwire Summary News” says, “It’s amazing to be in a position to be.”
