‘Made $250K and on track to $1 million’: When an office worker became freelance, his income skyrocketed.

THE PANDEMIC saw a lot of jobs, employees, and businesses fail, but Georgia Austin, 24, saw it as an opportunity to turn her side hustle into a full-time profession.

“I’ve made over $250,000 (£181.025) in the last six months and am on course to make $1 million (£724,100) in the next year,” Ms Austin said. Ms Austin has no intention of slowing down, with her SEO-focused content agency Wizard of Content on track to become a multimillion-dollar enterprise.

Ms Austin’s income has increased significantly since she started a Fiverr account in April 2020, and she has had to hire more freelancers to keep up with the workload.

“I took the plunge and quit my secure, full-time job to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the world of freelancing to dive deep into the Furthermore, I relocated from wintery England to tropical Brazil to begin a new life,” she explained.

Ms Austin began freelancing while working for Sweaty Betty, a sportswear company, and rapidly found that she was making more money freelancing for three hours each day than she was at her nine-to-five office job.

“I was’side hustling’ in order to test the waters and see if freelancing was a feasible option for me.

“Side hustling is pretty much the only way to find out if freelancing is right for you, and you have to realize that it won’t be easy.

“To supplement your income, you will labor lengthy hours before and after your day job.

“However, if you truly want it to work, you’ll be prepared to put up the extra effort to give it a shot.

“I was also more driven to make the switch after conversing with other freelancers, who told me that once you have more free time, or once you become freelance, the clients start flowing in. She said, “They were correct!”

“Starting out on freelancing markets like Fiverr was the key to my success,” Ms Austin said of her freelance success. You’re thrown into the deep end and forced to take on work beyond your ‘specialty’ or comfort zone – but this is the only and best way for me to actually learn.”

For people who prefer to set their own hours and work from home, freelancing can be a very rewarding vocation. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
