In 2021, Russia’s non-resource-based exports will hit new highs.

“According to Russian Export Center estimates, non-resource non-energy exports in nominal terms totaled over $135 billion in the first nine months of 2021, up nearly 40% from the same period in 2020,” she said.

Nikishina went on to say that the value of these exports will surpass the total for 2020 in October – roughly $141 billion.

“By the end of the year, the country’s non-resource, non-energy exports will have surpassed $180 billion for the first time,” Nikishina noted.

She included rolled steel, fertilizers, wheat, steel, platinoids, lumber, and aluminum among the top September exports.
