THE big talking points from Rishi Sunak’s Budget will be put under the microscope by a panel of leading business figures convened by The on March 4.
Tracy Black of CBI (Confederation of British Industry) Scotland, Liz Cameron of Scottish Chambers of Commerce, Fraser Campbell of Azets, Roz Foyer of The Scottish Trades Union Congress, Pete Murrin of Turcan Connell, and Edward Smith of Rathbones will gather online to analyse the key announcements the morning after the Chancellor delivers the Budget to Parliament on March 3.
The Budget Briefing will be compered by political commentator Iain Macwhirter, who will chair a panel discussion and then a question-and-answer session with the virtual audience.
Mr Campbell, partner and UK head of accounts and business advisory services of Azets, said: “As we draw closer to the Budget, we are keen to understand how Rishi Sunak will tackle the impact of coronavirus on the economy, how he plans to protect jobs and offer support to SMEs to allow businesses to reopen and rebuild.
