‘You trusted adversary!’ Biden is slammed by the mother of a deceased US soldier for his lack of accountability.
The mother of a US soldier killed in the Kabul terrorist attack slammed Joe Biden, saying he “trusted the enemy” when he rushed out of the country.
Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss’ mother, Paula Knauss, slammed US President Joe Biden, stating he “trusted their adversary.” It occurred after President Biden delivered an address to the country on Tuesday recognizing the “extraordinary success” of the pullout from Afghanistan.
“Who did you trust?,” the mother questioned to Fox News.
“You put your faith in our adversary to choose who would come through.
“What? Does anyone in our beautiful country consider- when they consider- what might happen?
“It didn’t take a military background to figure out that wasn’t going to go down well.”
“It should never have happened the way it did,” she continued.
“Who will be held responsible? “Who will say, ‘I am the one who is responsible?'”
“Everything you’ve revealed with me privately and everything America has heard tonight about your son says very clearly that he was someone who believed in accountability,” Fox News host Laura Ingraham said.
“It’s almost as if you’re admitting it.” If you make a mistake, you must take responsibility for it.
“Today, the President stated that ‘there was unanimity in decision-making, and that complications and problems were unavoidable.’
“In any withdrawals, so this couldn’t have been avoided,” I’m quoting.
“Does that make you feel better?”
“Anyone who knew and was watching,” Ms Knauss replied.
Anyone in this country who was seeing what was going on in front of our eyes could see that our men and women were not pursuing the enemy as they had been for over two decades.
“We were rushing, trying to get out of there as quickly as we could.
“The quick exit was unnecessary, but it completed what we began 20 years ago.”
