WWE Superstar Reveals Injury and Return Date

WWE Superstar Reveals Injuries and Recoveries Timetable.

King Woods (aka Xavier Woods) revealed on today’s episode of G4’s Attack of the Show that he suffered an injury during a Street Fight match and will be out of action for a while.

Woods suffered a torn Plantaris (the muscle beneath the calf) after jumping off the ropes to hit a DDT during The Usos’ Street Fight, though he was able to finish the match.

The good news is that he won’t be gone for long, but he did say he’ll be gone for four to six weeks.

“Yeah, so I was jumping into the ring to do a DDT, and I grabbed the guy and ran his head into the ground, hopefully shattering all of his bones so I could pin him and win the match, and make more money.”

So I did that part again, but this time it was just jumping off the rope, so nothing like a shark attack, a steel chair hit, a machine gun, or a machete.

“I literally just jumped,” Woods explained.

Woods claimed there was only a few minutes left in the match, which he completed safely and without incident.

“I had a few things to finish.”

But in those situations, you have to figure out things like, ‘Am I hurt to the point where I can’t go forward? Am I hurt to the point where I might make a mistake and harm someone else’s health?’ You have to keep everyone safe in there, and I was fine.

You know, it’s kind of a bummer.

I am unable to do this or that, but I am able to do this for this.

It’s all good now that we’ve completed everything.

“I’ll be good in four to six weeks,” Woods said.

Woods and Kofi Kingston have fought The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in back-to-back matches, so it’ll be interesting to see if he sticks around or fades away.

After all, he is King Woods, so even if he can’t wrestle for a few weeks, he can still be entertaining, but we’ll have to see.

We wish Woods the best of luck in his recovery.
