As one fifth of the platinum-selling girl group Danity Kane, Aundrea Fimbres made reality TV history.
In 2009, the group dissolved, but in 2014 Fimbres reunited with three of the members.
The alum of “Making The Band” surprised many by announcing her departure during one of the tour stops of the group and seemingly vanished from the spotlight.

During Making The Band 3, Fimbres had competed against thousands of applicants and was one of five picked to join Diddy’s girl group.
Two No. 1 albums and top-charting singles were released, along with Fimbres, Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, D. Woods and Dawn Richard.

The group was involuntarily troubled by disagreements and conflicts with management. Diddy shot D. in 2009. Woods and O’Day on the grounds that O’Day was a kid with issues. During the shooting, it was disclosed that O’Day and Fimbres had fallen out, and then Fimbres demanded to be released from her contract.
Fimbres and Richard returned for a further season with the future of the group in limbo.
Diddy, however, decided to fire Fimbres at the end of the season because he did not trust her to leave when things got tough.

A nationwide tour and a new album have been planned by the group.
At their San Francisco show during the May 2014 tour opener, Fimbres stunned the audience by tearfully announcing her departure.
“I have to say one thing, in case you guys don’t know. I just recently got engaged,” she started. “Two of my dreams were to be a singer and be on stage and have a family. In a few months, all of that will come true. I’m getting married… I’ve been able to do some amazing things with Danity Kane, but it’s time for me to start the next chapter in my life.”

It was later confirmed that the real reason for Fimbres’ exit was internal conflicts.
O’Day told the Chicago Tribune at the time of Fimbres’ departure that the party had not heard of Fimbres’ exit strategy until a week before the tour kicked off. O’Day states that she was disappointed.
Unfortunately, our company is dramatically affected.
O’Day said of Fimbres’ departure, but we are extremely strong as a threesome and strong enough to continue and strong enough to let someone who wants to be somewhere else go to discover the things that make them happy.
From here, where does Aundrea Fimbres go?
Fimbres has worked out his plan to get married. In November 2014, she married her longtime love and her partner, Joey Perez, has a daughter from a previous relationship.
Often, Fimbres gushes about her stepdaughter on her Instagram profile.
It seemed that Fimbres was moving to make gospel music.

In 2015, in the song “Phoenix.” she featured on Richard’s third studio album, Blackheart.
Interestingly, the song was initially meant for the party, but it was rejected by them. The song was supposed to be sold by Richard, but Fimbres persuaded them to keep it. Richard supposedly kept Fimbres’ verse on the album because from the beginning they were the two members who loved the song.
Since June 2018, Fimbres has had nothing shared on her Instagram account. If she has any intentions to return to the music business is uncertain.
