Rumors have long been debated about the revival of The ’70s Show.
Fans have long speculated that a reboot would soon occur.
But for years, the cast of The ’70s Show has often teased the notion. Here’s what we know about the possibility of a 2021 revival of ‘That’ 70s Show.’
Can a series or film reboot ‘The’ 70s Show ‘?
“That ’70s Show” premiered in 1998 on FOX.
Eric Forman (Topher Grace), his group of friends and their lives in Kenosha, Wisconsin, were the subject of the series in the 1970s.
Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Laura Prepon also appeared in the comedy. “That ’70s Show” went through 200 episodes and ended in 2006.
Fez’s Wilmer Valderrama spoke about the show’s longevity in syndication in a 2017 interview with Steve Harvey and opened up the prospect of a cast reunion.
“We’ve had some conversations about [a reunion], but there’s nothing official,” said Valderrama. “I feel like the show is so alive in syndication.”

Valderrama said at the time that it may be “too early” to have some kind of discussion about a revival of the ’70s show.
He said, “I wouldn’t leave That ’70s Movie out of the conversation,” “Everyone seems pretty busy right now, [but]I think that would be an interesting segue to do something where we could all come together [and]play those characters again.”
Tommy Chong is not similar to the younger cast, but he’s going to do a ’70s Show’ reboot.
Tommy Chong talked to TV Site in January 2020 about the possibility of a revival of ‘That’ 70s Show’ Chong had this to say when asked if he would be interested in being part of the future project:
Yes! Oh yeah! Completely.
And you are the first to write about this.
But yeah, that would be a wonderful idea.
It would be suitable to also do another exhibition.
He also noted that he does not interact as much with “the kids” in the cast as he does with the older supporting cast members, such as Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith. Despite his lack of link with the younger cast members, Chong said he “would love to do anything, especially with That ’70s Show because it was so iconic.”
Laura Prepon is not involved in a revival of ‘That’ 70s Show.’
Prepon talked to PopCulture.com in April 2020 about the possibility of a revival of ‘That’ 70s Show.’ While she knows fans are clamoring for more, she is not prepared to go back in time.
‘I love that display,’ started Prepon. My first thing was this show, and I did it for eight years. I love this cast. I loved the crew, and I learned so much from our producer, David Trainer, who, except the pilot, directed every episode.
For me, this series was so special, but it’s like being in a capsule of time.

Prepon contrasted her time on the show with someone who had a wonderful experience in college.
“I don’t think you want to go through college again, but you really think to yourself, ‘Wow, what an experience that shaped me in so many different ways.'”
Prepon remains loyal to her fellow performers, despite her lack of interest to participate in the alleged revival of The ’70s Show.
Topher Grace and Mila Kunis would reunite for ‘That ’70s Show’
‘That ’70s Show’ leading man Grace is ready and willing to do a reboot or movie.
“I would definitely do it because that was a very fun time for us,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018. Regardless of his desire for a reunion of That ’70s Show cast, Grace doesn’t think a reunion will happen.
“It would be so hard to get that crew back together,” he added. “For me, I would do it [even]if no one ever saw it. Just [because]it would be great to hang out with them for a week.”
Kunis made similar comments about a reboot. She’s not sure who would be interested in working on such a project, but she would consider being part of the reboot if it ever came to fruition.
“Maybe,” she told “Entertainment Tonight.” “I can’t say ‘no’ because we’re all still very good friends, but we s
