Fans of one of cinema’s most popular franchises are gearing up for the the next instalment in the James Bond series.

No Time To Die will be the 25th official Bond made by Eon Productions.

Three other films have been made by separate production companies.

Daniel Craig will be stepping down as Bond after the film. It will be his fifth and final appearance as the MI6 spy.

Taking over from Pierce Brosnan, Craig first appeared in Casino Royale in 2006.

Though famously critical of the role and its severe demands, Craig has enjoyed several perks of the part.

On 23 September it was announced Craig would be made an honorary commander in the Royal Navy, matching the rank of the 007 spy he has been the face of for the last 15 years.

There are already plenty of predictions for his successor.

No Time To Die will be released on 30 September in cinema’s across the UK.

The world premiere will be two days before on 28 September at the Albert Hall, where Craig and his co-stars will don their glad rags alongside director Cary Joji Fukunaga and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

The film has faced three delays and was originally meant to be released in April 2020. But with cinemas closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the decision was taken to postpone its release.

Fans of Fleabag and Killing Eve can expect an injection of hilarity in the series with the introduction of Phoebe Waller-Bridge to the writing staff.

Waller-Bridge is used to balancing drama with laughs.

Daniel Craig told the Radio Times: “She’s got devilish humour. Her influence permeates a lot of this film. She walked that fantastic line of keeping it as a thriller and being very funny.

“But Phoebe didn’t come in to change Bond. She came in to spice it up for sure, but she’s a Bond fan – she wasn’t about to take him in a different direction.”

Léa Seydoux’s portrayal of Madeleine Swann will also stir interest.

As the trailer reveals, Bond’s love interest Swann has a dangerous secret.

But will she betray Bond?

The traditional tick list of stylish cars, fancy suits and cool gadgets will also be catered for.

The trailer shows Bond at the helm of his. Brinkwire presents summary news.
