‘What the hell, no!’ Fans of Game of Thrones have been handed a devastating blow with the cancellation of yet another spin-off.
GAME OF THRONES fans will not be seeing life in Flea Bottom any time soon, as HBO has canceled the spin-off series.
After eight successful seasons, Game of Thrones came to an end almost two years ago. The HBO fantasy epic captivated in viewers from all over the world and catapulted its cast to stardom. The fantasy series was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and is based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels. Because the show was so popular during its run, HBO has already began developing a number of spin-offs. The broadcaster, on the other hand, has recently fired one of them.
HBO has canceled the Game of Thrones spin-off series Flea Bottom.
The fantasy series was supposed to depict life in the slums of King’s Landing.
Ser Davos Seaworth, Gendry Baratheon, and Karl Tanner, the Night’s Watch’s brother, were all born in Flea Bottom.
Along with other Game of Thrones spin-offs 9 Voyages and 10,000 Ships, the production was still in the early phases of development.
The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Flea Bottom will not be made.
However, the report also revealed that HBO Max is now working on three animated Game of Thrones spinoffs for the streaming channel.
Fans were outraged when they learned of the cancellation of Flea Bottom and flocked to Twitter to express their displeasure.
“Game of Thrones spinoff cancelled?” tweeted one enraged spectator. WTF.”
Another Game of Thrones fan reacted to the cancellation with, “Wtf no.”
However, not everyone was unhappy by the cancellation news, with some fans claiming that there were already too many spin-offs in the works.
“At this point, all Game of Thrones spin-offs are a poor idea,” one Twitter user remarked. It’s no longer alive.”
A second fan concurred, saying, “Tbh Fleabottom seems like a flop plan from the start.”
“The #GameOfThrones series Flea Bottom has been canceled. Which is fortunate, because it was a bad idea for a series to begin with,” someone else said.
Fans of the series can, however, look forward to another Game of Thrones spin-off on the horizon.
House of the Dragon, a prequel series, will be launched next year.
“Brinkwire Summary News” is a prequel to the events of Game of Thrones.
