What Is the Number of Villains in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’?

Despite the fact that Marvel Studios has a number of significant projects coming out in 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most eagerly awaited films in the franchise since Avengers: Endgame. This is partly due to the fact that the sequel will feature characters from the previous Spider-Man films, such as Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina). Spider-Man: No Way Home will also be the first theatrical film to explore the universe, with fans anticipating the appearance of a few additional villains during the film’s length.

Only two Spider-Man antagonists have been confirmed for the film.

While there are probably certainly more than two adversaries in Spider-Man: No Way Home, only two have been confirmed for the upcoming film.

Alfred Molina has confirmed that he will reprise his role as Doctor Octopus, which he first played in Spider-Man 2 in 2004.

In the meanwhile, Jamie Foxx is back as Spider-Man adversary Electro. He initially appeared as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and casting announcements for No Way Home indicated his comeback.

Both Molina and Foxx’s characters are featured in Marvel’s first trailer for the upcoming flick. However, it’s unclear how important their roles will be in the film, which appears to include a few more villains.

Several new enemies are teased in the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ trailer.

In addition to the two confirmed villains, Spider-Man: No Way Home’s newest trailer hinted at the return of a few more foes.

They weren’t as prominent as Molina’s persona, but the clues were there if you knew what to look for.

The Green Goblin is the most obvious enemy in the footage. A pumpkin bomb may be seen rolling down the road just before Molina’s Doc Ock arrives.

The character’s trademark cackle follows, although it’s unclear whether Willem Dafoe will reprise his role in the sequel.

Sandman and Lizard, according to fans, make brief appearances in the teaser.

Something strikes Peter (Tom Holland) from a dark building about 2:26, and it appears to be Lizard. Lightning and sand appear shortly after, and while the lightning is most likely from Electro, the sandstorm must have come from somewhere else (maybe Sandman?).

Brinkwire Entertainment’s short news has yet to be confirmed by Marvel.
