‘What a farce.’ Samantha Markle breaks down over Meghan Markle, and GB News is criticized.
Viewers on GB NEWS blasted the broadcaster when an interview with Samantha Markle and anchor Dan Wootton aired on Wednesday, the same day her sister Meghan Markle celebrated her 40th birthday.
Samantha Markle, the Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister, appeared on Dan Wootton’s GB News show on Wednesday. GB News viewers lambasted the inclusion of the interview and chastised Dan for allowing her on to his nightly news show as the American opened up about her relationship with Meghan Markle.
Samantha fought back tears during an interview question about whether she “still loved” her half-sister.
“Do you still adore Meghan, your sister?” “It’s so hard to love someone who has brought so much grief to so many people,” Sam replied.
“Especially with our dad suffering two heart attacks and watching her do this to the royals,” she said, sobbing.
She replied, “I can’t say I can love someone who is so brutally cruel.”
Viewers, on the other hand, ridiculed Dan’s question, with one tweeting, “What a farce the acting god.”
“Honestly, these bits are the worst thing on GB News. By a country mile, to be exact. Another remarked, “I honestly expected Wootton’s show would be a little more than his entertainment column on the telly.”
“Genuinely upset one minute and then fine the next,” said a third. “I’m not a Meghan fan, but this seemed fake to me.”
“Fake sentimentality, she immediately recovered herself,” another remarked. “I’m not a fan of Meghan Markle, but this woman is one big attention seeker.”
One viewer, though, said, “Impressed by Samantha Markle on @GBNEWS.” @danwootton did a fantastic job on the interview.”
“Thank you, Dan, for a fantastic and well-executed interview. Samantha’s message to Meghan was straightforward and honest. There isn’t much else to say. They remarked, “What a disaster.”
Samantha confessed that she believed her family’s circumstances would have been significantly different had the Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 40th birthday on Wednesday.
“I’m sure this isn’t how you and your father imagined spending Meghan’s 40th birthday when you were growing up together,” Dan replied.
Samantha said, “No, not at all.” “Especially in light of the events of the last several days.
“After a number of attacks on the British Royal Family and our family, it’s bittersweet.
“It feels like we’ve been at war on the battlefield for a couple of years.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
