HOLLY WILLOUGHBY announced the birth of a new member of her family when she introduced her new Golden Retriever.

Holly Willoughby, 40, shared some wonderful news on Instagram. The family is “totally in love,” according to the This Morning host, who has been absent from the show this week.

The TV actress teased her new pet dog in front of her 7.4 million Instagram followers before publishing a candid photo about her pet pup.

Holly was seen cradling her new dog in a lovely photo, but she had covered his face with a heart emoji.

The ITV personality revealed the name of her beloved puppy Bailey on her Wylde Moon website.

“Bailey came into our lives this month and has altered everything,” she wrote.

Holly wishes they had acted sooner when her daughter Belle, 10, sowed the seed for a family pet.

“Since she was able to communicate, my daughter has been advocating for us to get a dog, and we have been waiting for the ideal time for a dog to integrate into our family life,” Holly continued.

“It’s now or never. This delectable little ball of energy rushed into our world and immediately made us wonder why we had waited so long.

“She’s been fantastic at getting us all out of the home and out on lengthy walks and in the garden.”

“During lockdown, the kids gravitated to screens more than usual,” she continued, “but Bailey has come in and pushed a gigantic paw-shaped, reset button for all of us…and of course, we are completely in love.”

While Bailey has given a lot of joy to the family, the beauty has been sick this week, according to the This Morning host.
