Warning: This month, a popular Xbox One game will be removed from the Microsoft Store.
Fans of the Xbox One have only a few days left to acquire a popular game from the Microsoft Store before it vanishes forever.
Time is running out for Xbox One owners who want to get their hands on an unique Xbox One exclusive. Forza Motorsport 7, the most recent installment in Turn 10’s legendary sim-racing series, will be removed from the Microsoft Store later this month. The Xbox One exclusive will be delisted on September 15, and if you don’t already own it, you’ll have to buy a physical copy to play it after that.
In addition to Forza Motorsport 7, all supporting DLC will be deleted from the Microsoft Store.
You will be able to play Forza Motorsport 7 after the September 15 end-of-life date if you already purchased it digitally.
If you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription and purchased Forza Motorsport 7 DLC before July 29, 2021, you should have gotten a token to continue playing the game.
If you haven’t already, get in touch with Xbox Support.
Forza Motorsport 7 was removed from the Microsoft Store in July, according to reports.
The Forza team announced this in a blog post at the time, saying, “Forza Motorsport 7 will be delisted on September 15, 2021.” This means the game and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase through the Microsoft Store or through Xbox Game Pass.
“However, users who already buy Forza Motorsport 7 will be able to download and enjoy the game and its accompanying content as usual after September 15. Furthermore, elements such as multiplayer and internet services will remain available to individuals who own the game.
“We have good news for any Xbox Game Pass subscribers who previously purchased DLC for the game but not the game itself! Through the Xbox Message Center, you will receive a token for the game, allowing you to continue playing Forza Motorsport 7. Tokens will be distributed till August 2nd. If you have not received your token by that time, please contact Xbox Support here. (Tokens that have not been used will expire on September 15, 2023.)”
The official Twitter account for Forza Motorsport 7 indicated that the game’s delisting was due to licensing agreements.
In response to a question from a gamer about why Forza 7 was removed from the list, the @ForzaMotorsport Twitter account stated, “Forza games have to.” Brinkwire Summary News.
