Update for PlayStation Plus in October 2021: A double whammy for PS5 and PS4 game players.

Subscribers to PLAYSTATION Plus were looking for two blockbuster PS4 and PS5 games to arrive in October.

Sony has announced that two popular games will not be available for free on PlayStation Plus this month, which is bad news for PlayStation Plus customers.

The chance to download and play a selection of free PS4 and PS5 games each month is one of the key benefits of being a PS Plus user.

Hitman 2, Predator Hunting Grounds, and Overcooked All You Can Eat, for example, are among the latest PlayStation Plus free games.

On September 29, the next wave of PS Plus freebies will be released, and they will be accessible for download on October 5.

Unfortunately, two games will very certainly not be included in the lineup for next month.

Alan Wake Remastered was rumored to be coming to PS Plus in October before last night’s PlayStation Showcase.

This is primarily due to the fact that Alan Wake Remastered will be published on October 5, the same day as new PlayStation Plus titles.

There’s no way Alan Wake Remastered will be accessible on PS Plus next month now that it’s available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store.

Alan Wake Remastered, on the other hand, is only £24.99, so it won’t break the bank.

Uncharted Lost Legacy is another game that consistently appears on the PS Plus predictions list.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the only game in the series that has yet to be released on PlayStation Plus. This has fueled rumors that it will be given away sooner rather than later on a monthly basis.

Unfortunately, with Sony’s latest announcement, an Uncharted Lost Legacy PS Plus release looks increasingly doubtful.

Sony unveiled the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection at the aforementioned PlayStation Showcase.

The Legacy of Thieves Collection, which will be released in early 2022 for PS5 and PC, features remastered versions of Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy.

It’s unlikely that Lost Legacy will debut on PlayStation Plus, given Sony’s desire to cash in on the Uncharted franchise once more.

“This brand-new remastered package includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which follows Nathan Drake on a final far-flung adventure into the jungles of Madagascar to the long-lost pirate colony of Libertalia in search of Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure.

“It also features Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which follows Chloe Frazer as she embarks on her breakout career.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
