Ulrika Jonsson admits that being a single mother at the age of 54 “wasn’t the life she expected.”

ULRIKA JONSSON opened up about a “turning point” in her life.

Ulrika Jonsson is a well-known television host who has been on the airwaves since the 1980s.

However, at the age of 54, the actress recently reflected on how her life is not what she expected.

The former weather presenter made the candid admission in her most recent column.

Ulrika was responding to Tamzin Outhwaite’s recent interview in which she stated that she has no plans to have any more children.

The host then talked about fertility and her own desires, which were similar to those of the audience.

She admitted that her maternal instincts are no longer her “single ambition.”

“Like Tamzin, I’ve now turned a different corner, into a life I wasn’t expecting to live,” Ulrika explained.

“A 54-year-old single woman with nearly grown-up Ungratefuls.

“And, quite frankly, the thought of having more children repulses me and fills me with fear and loathing,” she added in today’s Sun.

The former weather presenter, on the other hand, was quick to point out that women have complete control over their fertility.

Ulrika is the mother of four boys, the oldest of whom is 27 years old and the youngest of whom is 13 years old.

Cameron, her son, was born in 1994 and is shared with her ex-husband John Turnbull.

Ulrika and Markus Kempen have a daughter named Bo, who is 21 years old.

She has a 17-year-old daughter named Martha with Lance Gerrard-wright, whom she met while filming a TV show.

Malcolm is her eldest child, whom she shares with her ex-husband Brian Monet.

Ulrika recently shared some memories of growing up with her daughter Bo.

On her 21st birthday, she shared an emotional message in which she admitted she didn’t know if she’d make it.

Bo was diagnosed with congenital heart disease at the age of five months.

“At the time, I was told the doctors didn’t know if she would survive the surgeries and, if she did, all they could hope for was for her to live into her teens,” she wrote in a recent column.

“She’s exceeded my and many others’ expectations.”

Ulrika will be featured in a new season of Celebs Go Dating.

The actress has been updating her social media followers on her filming progress.
