Trials of Osiris prizes in Destiny 2: When does Season 15’s Trials begin?

The Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris event is coming back to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with some substantial reward adjustments from Bungie.

Bungie is bringing back Destiny’s Trials of Osiris, but with some significant alterations.

Destiny 2 players will have access to Xur and his new goodies, but the Trials will not be available today.

Bungie has decided to postpone the release of Season 15 in Trials of Osiris on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The development team cited a number of reasons for the delay, including the necessity to make Season 15’s content more unique.

They’re aiming to maintain the population up by making Trials of Osiris a weekly event, as they told Guardians this week:

“First and foremost, at the start of Season 15, Trials will take a brief hiatus. We’d prefer to eliminate instances when players are torn between several PvP or endgame ambitions for a given weekend in order to maintain a healthy population.

“As a result, beginning with Season 15, we’re implementing the following adjustments for all future Seasons: There will be no trials in Week 1 or prior to Raid World First.

“Week 1 should be about discovering and using new content, features, and tunings, as well as finding and using new weapons and Exotics.” “More Trials during Iron Banner, and overlapping limited-time PvP events aren’t healthy for either game mode’s health.”

This week, Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris will be unavailable to play, and there will be no event on August 27.

Bungie has announced that the Trials of Osiris will return on September 10 with a slew of new features.

The Trials will begin at 6 p.m. BST, as normal, but the rewards for those who complete them will be different.

Bungie intends to phase out Tokens and change the way rewards are earned on all platforms.

“We’d like to provide players additional reason to play through three-win rewards,” the Destiny team writes in a message. As a result, we’re providing more incentives to more players, more frequently.

“Saint-14’s reputation will be overhauled, and he’ll be able to direct Trials engrams toward certain rewards. Adept weapons will continue to require the completion of a full Flawless passage.”

Bungie has proposed a number of new incentive changes, including the “Brinkwire Summary News.”
