Travis Scott is footing the bill for the Astroworld victims’ funerals.

Following the tragic events at Travis Scott’s Astroworld music festival on Friday night, the rapper has promised to cover all of the victims’ funeral expenses.

According to TMZ, Scott will not only pay for the victims’ funerals, but he will also work with BetterHelp to provide mental health services to anyone who attended the Astroworld festival.

During the incident, eight people died and dozens more were hospitalized.

According to the publication, Scott has promised to fully cover any funeral costs for the eight people who died after attending his Houston concert.

They also stated that Scott will cover these costs personally.

In addition to paying for the funeral, Scott is partnering with BetterHelp to ensure that anyone affected by Friday’s events receives the assistance they require.

BetterHelp will make its resources available to anyone who attended the concert as a result of this partnership.

They will be able to receive one-on-one virtual therapy sessions with qualified professionals.

If they require in-person assistance, BetterHelp has partnered with the National Alliance of Mental Illness to provide additional support.

All attendees of the Astroworld festival will be eligible for a full refund.

On Friday night, these tragic events occurred at Scott’s concert.

The event, which was organized by Scott and Live Nation, quickly devolved into a terrifying scene as crowds swelled, causing trampling and other injuries.

According to KHOU, Houston Fire Chief Sam Pea said of the incident, “This is a tragic night.”

Tonight, we know there were at least 8 confirmed fatalities.

People began to fall out and become unconscious as the crowd began to compress towards the front of the stage…causing some injuries.”

Scott, who has been chastised for not stopping the concert in the midst of the chaos, has issued a statement.

“I’m completely devastated by what happened last night,” he wrote on social media on Saturday.
