Travelers from Spain are still being quarantined due to a change in the green list.

DOMINIC RAAB has confirmed that the travel list will be updated soon, but it is likely that those returning from Spain will still be required to quarantine. If the country was transferred to the amber plus list, this would be required.

Even if the traffic light system changes, visitors to Spain may be forced to quarantine. More nations will be added to the green and amber travel lists, according to Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab.

Spain is now on the amber list, which implies that British visitors must quarantine upon their return and adhere to other travel restrictions.

It’s possible that it’ll be moved to the amber plus list next week.

Quarantining is still required in amber plus countries, despite the slightly more relaxed requirements.

Today on Sky News, Mr Raab discussed travel changes.

He was asked about the shift in Spain’s stance on the traffic signal system and how it has generated some confusion while on the show.

“I completely understand,” he said.

“As we emerge from lockdown, we are in a period of uncertainty.

“I believe you are getting ahead of where the Government will be next week, but of course, what we want to do is open up with the least amount of disturbance to people, but we must be completely vigilant for all of these potential permutations of the variant.”

While the Foreign Secretary did not specify what adjustments will be made, he did hint that Spain may be put to a new list.

“You’ll know by next week at the latest,” he said. You must evaluate it in light of the current traffic light system.

“We can’t make any guarantees about the outcome of the next review.

“If we didn’t, the review system wouldn’t be very useful.”

Holidaymakers would still have to quarantine and pay for two PCR tests if it was moved on the amber plus list.

Because Spain is a major tourist destination, many Britons will be watching for any changes.

The elimination of all travel limitations, on the other hand, is what most people are thinking about.

Mr Raab stated that he was unable to provide a specific date for when travel would reopen.

However, the rise in persons getting double-jabbed may hasten the day when individuals will. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
