TODAY’S WARZONE UPDATE: A new Call of Duty hotfix patch tinkers with weapons.
Today, WARZONE receives a new update that includes a few changes to the Krig 6 and CX-9 weapons. Here’s what the most recent Call of Duty hotfix patch has to offer.
Makers of warzones Raven Software has just released a new Call of Duty update, which is now available to all players (Thursday August 5). Two weapons, the Krig 6 and the CX-9, have been tweaked in the current Warzone patch. The official Raven Software Twitter account announced the news, saying, “We have published an update to #Warzone with a couple Weapon adjustments.”
“Krig 6,” says the narrator (BOCW). The Lower Torso Multiplier fell from 1.1 to 1. The maximum damage range has been lowered from 1500 to 1400.
“CX-9,” says the narrator (MW). The mid-damage range has been increased from 20 to 21. The Headshot Multiplier has been increased from 1.4 to 1.45”.
The current patch comes after another hotfix was published earlier this week to fix a problem with the CX-9 unlock challenge.
This hotfix, which was pushed out on Tuesday, August 3, was pushed out in response to reports of issues with tracking the progress of the CX-9 challenge.
Raven Software tweeted about the problem, saying, “We are aware of an issue with the CX-9 (MW) where the Unlock Challenge and Level are not tracking.”
“We’re looking into that right now.”
“We have published an update to #Warzone that resolves the issue with the CX-9 Unlock Challenge and Level Progression not working properly,” the account continued.
“I appreciate your patience!”
The latest Warzone update arrives ahead of the August 12 release date for Season 5, which has been penciled in.
The artwork for Call of Duty Warzone season 5 has leaked before of the official presentation, and it incorporates Japanese calligraphy and neon lighting like you’d see in Tokyo.
