Today’s Destiny 2 Xur location: What happened to Xur this week?
WHERE HAS XUR GONE? Guardians of Destiny will soon learn where to go for the elusive merchant in order to see his unique items.
Intrepid Destiny 2 players will soon unravel the mystery of where Xur is and what he’s offering this week.
In a few hours, the Agent of the Nine will be returning on the map, bringing with him the latest exotic and legendary riches.
The good news is that the list of weapons and equipment that may be traded in for Legendary Shards and Glimmer has grown.
As a result, you’ll be able to obtain a variety of equipment, including Legendary armour sets that weren’t available during Season 14.
At 6 p.m. BST, Xur will return to Destiny 2 and will be accessible for visits for several days.
The merchant’s access will expire on September 21, when the weekly Destiny reset completes numerous actions and removes Xur from the map.
Bungie never reveals what he’s selling ahead of time, and it’s always a guess as to where he could be.
Each week, a few select random places are used, with Nessus, EDZ, and The Tower among them.
Glimmer has become more important to Xur, although Legendary Shards remain the primary currency.
For those who have forgotten, Legendary Shards are the remains of powerful items that Xur uses to upgrade his equip or trade for other items.
It’s also worth noting that Xur will drop things with the same amount of power as your character.
Another new feature of Xur in the latest edition of Destiny 2 is that he now offers free Cipher Quests.
The Quest will reward you with an exotic Cipher if you complete 21 Strikes or win the same number of Crucible or Gambit matches as you did last week.
Guardians can obtain one Exotic Engram per week using Legendary Shards, which decrypts as Exotics not existing in your collection.
Xur was selling the following items last week:
