Genshin Impact 2.0 time, date, and Inazuma update maintenance announcement

The official countdown to the deployment and maintenance of Genshin Impact 2.0 has begun, with designers Mihoyo starting the official countdown.

In the United Kingdom, the Genshin Impact 2.0 release date has been set for July 21 at 4 a.m. BST, and in North America, July 20 at 8 p.m. PDT. Developers Mihoyo have also announced that servers will be unavailable for about five hours starting at 11 p.m. BST due to maintenance.

In today’s update, the new Inazuma map area, as well as the new Ayaka Banner and new monsters to confront, will be unlocked. More details about today’s update can be found below.

With one of the largest map expansions and free content enhancements since the game’s launch in 2020, Genshin Impact’s Update 2.0 will be a game-changer.

The new patch will be out soon, with server maintenance coming first, followed by the new update and the first Banner of the 2.0 era.

According to developers Mihoyo, the entrance of Inazuma, a new place with distinct weather effects, things to collect, and monsters to slaughter, would be the focus of Genshin Impact version 2.0.

The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia will be the official title for Version 2.0, which is a really appealing term.

The Raiden Shogun will play a key role in the Inazuma story, which will take place on six main islands and a swarm of islets scattered across the ocean.

Earlier this month, designers Mihoyo stated, “While Mondstadt believes in freedom and Liyue fulfills contracts, Inazuma and its monarch, Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon, pursues eternity.”

“However, what motivates an Archon with the power of ephemeral lightning to desire eternal life? As the story unfolds, this will become a reoccurring theme throughout your time in Inazuma.

“Inazuma is a region of fleeting beauty, in contrast to her Almighty Shogun’s desire for everlasting.

“Unlike Mondstadt and Liyue, where the weather is bright and sunny, Inazuma’s weather changes quickly and dramatically, coloring the landscapes with a strong sea breeze, flickering light and shadow, and raging thunderstorms in the blink of an eye.”

Under the new Ayaka character banner, which will kick off Genshin Impact 2.0, the five-star character Ayaka will be accompanied by four-star characters Chongyum and Yanfei.

Things will work out in the end. “Brinkwire News in a Nutshell.”
