Tilly Ramsay will not compete in the Strictly final because Nikita is “going to stop her” from winning, according to the pro.

TILLY RAMSAY has been to the dreaded Strictly dance-off on several occasions.

A professional dancer claims her pairing with newcomer Nikita Kuzmin isn’t right.

Fans of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing have been impressed by TV chef Tilly Ramsay’s progress on the show.

Gordon Ramsay’s daughter was paired with Nikita Kuzmin, who had only recently entered the glitzy dance competition.

Nikita was not the right match for Tilly, according to professional dancer Gary Edwards, and this could have consequences.

After her Quickstep left the judges beaming, fans of Strictly were disappointed to see Tilly in the bottom two last week.

In the dance-off, she competed against Sara Davies, a Dragons’ Den star, and was unanimously saved by the panel.

The young TV personality wrote on Instagram that being in the dance-off was “not easy.”

Gary Edwards, a Dancing With The Stars expert, believes her match with Nikita is holding her back.

“I really focused on Tilly and watched it back three times,” he said to this website.

Tilly is subjected to a particularly arduous journey.

“I don’t believe that’s the best partner for her.”

That, I believe, is working against her.

“My notes say things like ‘fun and cute,”super energy,”super enjoyable,’ and ‘footwork and ankle use are the biggest weak points.’

“‘I’d have gone an eight if I hadn’t been so undervalued.’

I don’t believe it was on purpose, but the partner match – imagine her dancing with Giovanni [Pernice] or Aljaz [korjanec].

“And I just don’t think Nikita is the right fit.”

That would have worked with Nikita and Rose [Ayling-Ellis].

Tilly’s level of skill was praised by the professional dancer, who suggested she had not yet reached her full potential.

“When she actually uses her legs, she is super powerful,” he added.

“And, once again, I judge people who would have difficulty taking on Tilly, not beginners.”

“When she lands a good power drive away from a standing foot, she is actually quite impressive and undervalued, even by me.”

“I kept rewatching it and thinking, ‘You know what? The potential is there.'”

“She just needs to break through and be a little more explosive; she’s not letting on that she’s good.”
