If you didn’t have a lot of money growing up, you had to come up with “innovative” ways to pinch pennies and save money so you could buy the things you really wanted.

You could have saved bottles and cans and taken them to the recycling center outside your supermarket.

You’d knock on neighbors’ doors in the fall and offer to rake leaves.

You’d shovel snow in the wintertime.

During the spring and summer, perhaps you could clean gutters, assist with clutter removal, or paint fences and garage doors.

But frugality doesn’t have to end with extra money-making opportunities; you can always go a step further by attempting to obtain as many free experiencesswag as possible.

Maybe you took advantage of the opportunity to complete hour-long surveys in exchange for free movie screening tickets, or maybe you did what one ingenious TikToker did and entered different birthdays at hundreds of different restaurantseateries to get free food every day.

You could also go dumpster diving if you really wanted to get into the frugal and thrifty lifestyle.

There are numerous studies that rank the United States as one of, if not the most, wasteful countries in the world, and you just know that people are discarding items that others may find useful; one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and so on.

And if you live next door to a popular Influencer who gets more free swag than they can handle, you might end up with some sweet product hauls that you would otherwise have to pay a lot of money for.

After grabbing a box thrown out by their neighbor, TikTok user @bysham discovered this for themselves.

The mysterious garbage package contained a plethora of high-end cosmetics from brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills and L’Occitane.

Sham says in the video that they got all of the upscale swag from their Influencer neighbor, but they don’t say who it was.

It’s probably someone with a large following, based on the sheer amount of stuff they threw away.

“We got the box into our apartment by sneaking it in.”

There was a lot of new stuff in there,” the text overlay said…
